We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to work as an intervention coordinator to develop provisions that improve outcomes for pupils with SEND. You will promote ways to ensure pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion and

promote support for pupils with SEND, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum. You will  assess the needs of pupils through individually tailored key indicators and ensure inclusive practices are in place so pupils with SEND make progress.  You will design, plan and deliver appropriate and timely interventions to support the areas identified by Specialist Teachers, SENCo and Senior Leaders.

 

You will possess the ability to lead effectively within a team environment, with an understanding of roles and responsibilities within SEND and be able to build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues.  You will demonstrate excellent behaviour management techniques and have the ability to work with children at all levels regardless of specific individual need and identify learning styles as appropriate.

You will have the ability to support the teacher in planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities to ensure effective teaching and learning and the ability to give feedback in a constructive manner. You will be able to contribute to positive relationships with pupils and adults through communication and interaction and provide effective support for colleagues through differentiation and a proactive approach in and out of a classroom setting.

You will have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and the ability to build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues.  You will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of those with SEND.

We are seeking a General Catering Assistant to assist in the preparation for and in the service of meals and refreshments and to undertake associated kitchen duties.  Work is carried out under the supervision of the units Catering Manager.  You will prepare, cook and serve school meals in accordance with food handling and preparation regulations, ensuring safe and proper use of the kitchen/catering equipment and materials provided. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety within the working environment.

You will possess the manual skills associated with food preparation and have the ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment and use general catering equipment safely and correctly.  You will be able to follow instructions, e.g. guidelines, Codes of Practice and have the ability to form good working relationships with other staff and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
