منگل 19 جولائی 2022 کو، Smithills کے شاگردوں اور عملے کے پاس اسکول کے لیے اپنے معمول کے یونیفارم کے علاوہ کچھ اور پہننے کا اختیار تھا۔ یہ اسکول کے لیے موزوں ہونا چاہیے تھا، تاہم، اس بات کی عکاسی کرنے کی ضرورت تھی کہ وہ واقعی کون ہیں۔ اگر کوئی شخص نسل، ثقافت، پس منظر کی نمائندگی کرنا چاہتا ہے یا اس کے کردار کا کوئی پہلو ہے جسے وہ سب کے ساتھ بانٹنا چاہتا ہے تو یہ کہنے کا دن تھا، یہ میں ہوں!
The event started with our Headteacher, Miss Dewse welcoming visitors to Smithills. This followed with our Year 7 pupil, Edric's video diary, documenting his first week at Smithills School as a new year 7 pupil.
Visitors were invited to take a look around departments and spend time getting to know our Smithills family.
