2022. július 19-én, kedden a Smithills tanulói és alkalmazottai mást is viselhettek, mint a szokásos iskolai egyenruhájukat. Alkalmasnak kellett lennie az iskolába, de tükröznie kellett, hogy kik is ők valójában. Ha valaki az etnikai hovatartozást, a kultúrát, a hátteret vagy a jellemének egy olyan aspektusát akarta képviselni, amelyet meg akart osztani mindenkivel, ez volt az a nap, amikor azt mondták: EZ VAGYOK!
The event started with our Headteacher, Miss Dewse welcoming visitors to Smithills. This followed with our Year 7 pupil, Edric's video diary, documenting his first week at Smithills School as a new year 7 pupil.
Visitors were invited to take a look around departments and spend time getting to know our Smithills family.
