MOCK INTERVIEWS
On Friday, December 13th, Smithills School held its annual Year 11 mock interviews for all the Year 11 cohort pupils.
This event was to help prepare them for future Interviews- whether this will be for work purposes, college, university or an apprenticeship. This was an opportunity to practice their interview skills and develop some new techniques.
Local businesses, sixth-form colleges, training providers and apprenticeship providers attended and supported the school on the day.
Students provided a record of achievement folder at interviews where they had been collating their certificates of achievement and had to dress professionally as per real-life interviews for a job and again they all looked fabulous and shone!
Students had also completed a CV and a Personal Statement before the event. A CV and Personal Statement is something they will continue to use and update as they apply for employment in the future.

The day was an amazing success for all, this motivated and inspired all of our pupils who received positive feedback.
