JOURNÉE DE LA CULTURE
Le mardi 19 juillet 2022, les élèves et le personnel de Smithills ont eu la possibilité de porter autre chose que leurs uniformes habituels pour l'école. Il devait être adapté à l'école, cependant, devait refléter qui ils sont vraiment. Si une personne voulait représenter l'ethnie, la culture, l'origine ou avoir un aspect de son caractère qu'elle souhaitait partager avec tout le monde, c'était le jour pour dire, C'EST MOI !
Pendant la journée, le personnel a également organisé des cours thématiques autour de l'identité.
La journée est née en réponse à ce que nos élèves de nombreux groupes d'âge ont demandé.

On the visit to Smithills today, Oli said, “I think there was a bit of apprehension about this man standing in front of us telling us what we need to do to become a referee, but once the interactions started I think it was fantastic. The kids were engaging in decisions, I put them under a bit of pressure with regards to why they chose that outcome and I thought the kids were great with their responses”.
